Countless things to discover
High Line Park
The High Line is undoubtedly one of New York’s most remarkable parks. It stretches along an abandoned railway viaduct in Chelsea.
Its position allows visitors to see the city in a new way due to the height of the viaduct, which not only opens up unusual views, but also provides a new perspective and allows people to better view those places, details, and objects that are less noticeable to pedestrians and motorists.
There are countless things to discover on a stroll down the High Line: old warehouses, art galleries, world-class hotels, factories, and even churches are not only adjacent to each other, but seem to surround the park from all sides.
On this adventure, players will learn…
- Where, according to legend, the Oreo was invented.
- Where along the High Line you can see buildings in which nuclear weapons were developed.
- Which of the many massive buildings surrounding the High Line was at one point the largest residential building in the world.
- Where bioterrorists sent anthrax spores in 2001
… and much more!
